The Early Years Food Coalition is proud to announce its Parent Ambassadors

The Early Years Food Coalition is pleased to introduce its new Parent Ambassador programme, led jointly by Sustain’s Children’s Food Campaign and Bremner & Co, as Coalition secretariat.

The Parent Ambassadors come from across the UK, and a diverse range of backgrounds, including those in public health, education, sustainability, and community engagement, alongside their experience as parents and carers feeding young children every day.

Their perspectives on food in the early years are important, and are shaped by their experiences relying on early education and childcare. Across the group, this includes private, voluntary and independent settings, school-based nurseries and childminders, as well as both food provided by settings and food brought from home.

Together, they will help us explore what fair and equitable access to good food could look like in practice, where families are already seeing good practice, where challenges remain, and how parents and carers can help shape change.

You can meet the Parent Ambassadors and read their stories in the document below.
